Fascinating craquelure effects. The colorless, water-based medium is suitable for crackling (tear varnish technique). This causes cracks in the top layer of paint, allowing the color underneath to show through. The Marabu craquelure medium offers great effects, especially when combined with the napkin technique. Suitable substrates for this technique are, for example, wood, metal, glass, terracotta, canvas, ceramics, porcelain and modeling clay.
